What is GRP Roofing?

A GRP roof is a single-ply laminate applied in situ over a good quality conditioned plywood or OSB3 deck.

The roof is finished with preformed GRPedge trims and a coat of pigmented topcoat.

GRP has been used as waterproofing material for over 50 years for applications as diverse as boats, water tanks, lorry and car bodies, roof lights, ponds and pools.

When used to construct a boat, GRP will provide waterproofing protection for the boats entire life span of 20+ years without the need for maintenance or replacement.

This same level of performance is easily replicated on a domestic roof.

Fibreglass is an ideal material for roofing. Apart from its durability, we build to a very high specification which means that your roof notably water tight but flexible enough to breathe and vent.
